This is certainly not the first time that the Miami Dolphins will be abused for making this "trade" of Brandon Marshall, and it won't be the last time either.

Sure, they suck. They have an anemic offense. Sure, their quarterback situation is in flux and they are relying on attracting a free agent quarterback. Hey, the franchise has had one good season in the last decade or so, and were really hoping to bring in Peyton Manning.

The OBVIOUS thing to do in this situation is to trade your best offensive player for 2 future third round picks!

I always thought Stephen Ross was crazy, but this confirms it. No wonder Bill Parcells quit on him. All we can say to Joe Philbin is...good fucking luck. I mean seriously? You couldn't have asked for a goddamn second round pick?

As for the Chicago Bears, they came out nicely from this bank robbe...errrr...trade.
Not only have they reunited the dynamic duo of Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall, they have assured that the recovering Matt Forte will not have to carry the offensive load in the future. And they did all of this basically for free.

Needless to say, the race for the 2012 NFC North title just went from a Detroit-Green Bay duel to a royal rumble that includes Da Bears.

We've passed that 4:00 EST deadline. Now the madness begins. Just months after the summer free agent bonanza that followed the 2011 NFL lockout, we're finally back to the proper time for new free agents to sign with teams.

This free agent class is extremely loaded, featuring talents like Cortland Finnegan, Mario Williams, Carlos Rodgers, Vincent Jackson, Michael Bush and of course Peyton Manning. JZSports will be keeping you updated on major signings as they happen.

Amazingly, the first major move of this free agency period was not a signing, but a "trade". The Chicago Bears have just committed grand theft wideout, and literally mugged the Miami Dolphins at gunpoint by acquiring Brandon Marshall for two 3rd round picks.

Not only did the Bears manage to get Marshall for the minimal price, they reunite him with old teammate Jay Cutler. Both of them enjoyed their best statistical seasons playing together.

Marques Colston has agreed to stay in New Orleans with a 5-year deal worth $40 million, and cornerback Terrell Thomas has agreed to stay with the New York Giants for an undisclosed amount.

Stay tuned for more free agency updates!

5 MLB Managers Who Will Be on Hot Seat in 2012

The life of a manager in Major League Baseball is never one of complete security.
When teams are wallowing in mediocrity, general managers generally aren’t likely to fire everyone on the 25-man roster, so the manager serves as the sacrificial lamb. Oftentimes, it’s not the manager’s fault, but it’s job on the line anyway when his team isn’t performing to expectations.
In 2012, there are a number of managers who will be looking over their shoulders if their teams get off to a cold start.
1. Brad Mills: Houston Astros
The sale of the Houston Astros to businessman Jim Crane was finally approved by MLB late last year. Crane brought in new general manager Jeff Luhnow, and the two decided to retain current manager Brad Mills, in spite of the Astros’ horrid 2011 season during which they lost a franchise-record 106 games.
Mills will likely be on a short leash as the Astros make their way through the 2012 season with a roster of unproven youngsters looking to make their mark. Mills will be judged on how those youngsters develop and grow together as a unit, and if the development starts off to slowly, Mills could be gone in short notice.
2. Dusty Baker: Cincinnati Reds
Dusty Baker is entering his fifth season as skipper of the Cincinnati Reds, and he leads a team with the highest payroll in franchise history ($81 million). Much is expected from the Reds after GM Walt Jocketty upgraded with pitchers Mat Latos, Ryan Madson and Sean Marshall.
After last year’s disappointing outcome following an NL Central Division title in 2010, Baker will be gone if the Reds stumble out of the gate in 2012.
3. Jim Tracy: Colorado Rockies
Despite the fact that Colorado Rockies manager Jim Tracy was given an “indefinite” contract extension last month, no one should think that his job is safe.
Tracy took over from the fired Clint Hurdle in 2009, guiding the Rockies to a playoff berth after being ten games below .500. However, since that time, the Rockies have gotten progressively worse each year, finishing last season with just 73 wins.
The extension certainly looks nice, but GM Dan O’Dowd had no problem jettisoning Hurdle mid-season in 2009, he’ll have no issue doing the same with Tracy if the Rockies again disappoint.
4. Don Mattingly: Los Angeles Dodgers
The Los Angeles Dodgers will likely have a new owner in place by late April/early May. With new ownership comes a new way of doing things, and a completely new regime.
Current manager Don Mattingly could very well be on the outs when new ownership hits the ground running, especially if the Dodgers are under .500 at the time.
5. Eric Wedge: Seattle Mariners
With the exception of the 10-year run for Lou Piniella from 1993-2002, the shelf life for managers in Seattle isn’t long. In fact, seven managers have followed Piniella in nine seasons, including current manager Eric Wedge.
Wedge won just 67 games last season with a team loaded with young, unproven players. Wedge’s time in Seattle may not last long either if that young talent doesn’t develop and gel as a team.

Contribution by Prince Raymond

I recently saw some great DIRECT TV DEALS advertised in my area so I decided to go ahead and sign up while I knew The Walking Dead was on hiatus. All my friends kept talking about the show and telling me it was so good and that I had to watch it… How can I pass that up? I've always been really into slasher films ever since Scream came out when I was in high school. I can't believe they can show some of the stuff on TV that they are showing nowadays but I guess it's fine by me since the blood and guts really makes for a pleasurable viewing experience if you ask me. In reality I should have gone into the moviemaking business and maybe even done makeup for crazy people on set like the zombies on Walking Dead. I don't know that I would have made as much money into the hours are probably terrible but I probably would have been a lot more fulfilled in my job!

From baby-blue suede to purple polka-dotted velvet, NBA analyst Craig Sager's vast collection of suits rarely fails to entertain. Yet on this night in 2009, our man KG had to put his foot down. His explanation is classic, an absolute burning to be exact. Here's when keeping it real goes RIGHT...

Are they actually the smartest backcourt in basketball? Who the hell knows? What we DO know is that this is one of the funniest and most clever teammate handshakes we've ever seen.

Harvard and Stanford....producing New York basketball stars? There's a thought.

We love these two nerds.

The NFL's 2o11 comeback player of the year for is well known for his rocket arm and laser accuracy. Matt Stafford has been embraced by the city of Detroit for breathing new life into an inept Lions franchise and his future is looking very bright.

Having said that, can anyone guess what he used his signing bonus on a few years ago? Please observe the photo. On the left is Stafford's girlfriend (a former Georgia Bulldogs cheerleader) while they were still in school. On the right is her more recently.

Notice anything?

It happened everyone! This team of destiny, our beloved New York Football Giants, defied all the odds once again, and defeated the New England Patriots to become the World Champions of football. Eli is once again a Super Bowl MVP, and 2-0 against Tom Brady in the big game.

The Giants earned this victory and their ring. As fans, we earned the Lombardi Trophy too. If you supported the Giants all the way through, you have earned the right to stand tall with your heroes, as fans of the world champions. You screamed in joy and agony, you laughed, and maybe you cried, but in the end you bled BLUE and that's the only thing which matters.

The Giants went ALL IN, and now, they CASH OUT.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

We try to be objective here at JZSports, but we are New Yorkers to the core, and that will never change.

On the eve of the epic rematch of Super Bowl 46, we at JZSports want to show some support to our hometown New York Giants. Even if we didn't love the Giants here at JZSports (and we definitely do), we sure hate the Patriots enough either way.

They started this roller coaster season with an inglorious loss to the lowly Washington Redskins, and a rash of season ending injuries to a throng of their best players.

Instead of throwing in the towel on his coaching career, Tom Coughlin rode Eli Manning's arm and Victor Cruz's salsa to Giants immortality and his second SB appearance in 4 years.

The stage is set for an unforgettable Super Bowl. The G-Men are all-in.

It's your time New York Fans. Let's get it.
