We all know that there has never been any love lost between the New England Patriots and New York Jets - these organizations like each other about as much as Jonathan Vilma likes Roger Goodell.

The never-ending feud took a new twist this week, when the Patriots announced one of the strangest and most obviously belligerent offseason moves in recent memory - the signing of New York Jets castoff Tim Tebow.

Could Bill Belichick be trolling the Jets any harder? Signing Jake Ballard off waivers after the Giants beat him in the Super Bowl was one thing - but this is a whole new level of "go screw yourself". What purpose could Belichick have for Tebow, other than to aggravate the Jets by having him on the sidelines and maybe playing a snap or two at fullback in their two games this season? This stinks of Belichick and Robert Kraft wanting nothing more than to stick it to Gang Green just for shits and giggles.

Granted, if anyone can take the hilariously untalented Tebow and make him useful, it would be the Hoodie. At least he's got a better shot at it than the 600-pound duo of Rex Ryan and Tony Sparano. Maybe Tebow will actually develop into a decent position player under the Patriot system. However, if anyone is delusional enough to think he'll get a better shot at QB reps in New England than he did in New York is sorely mistaken.

Maybe the Patriots will use him as a receiver.....

Ok, then maybe a coin toss captain...

Hey, at least he's a good sport!

End of story....this is pretty laughable. Good luck to all parties.

A tongue in cheek look at a few of the NFL's stars, and what their online dating profiles would look like. Enjoy.

Clearly Bart Scott isn't feeling quite as exuberant as he was after the Jets Playoff victory over the New England Patriots almost a year ago. Obviously pissed off about missing the postseason for the first time since joining the New York Jets, Bart Scott was not interested in talking to reporters.

He probably Cant Wait for the 2012 season.

Keep it classy Bart.

By congratulating the one NY team to make the playoffs in the g-men, we look back on a tumultuous NFL season by getting subtle entertainment from the unnecessarily-chatty coach from the green squad. Time to enjoy his first quiet moment.

The New York Jets are on the brink of a playoff berth, only needing a win over the Bears on Sunday to clinch. Unfortunately, there appears to be another off the field issue clouding the team, Rex Ryan's foot-fetish. It seems elementary and unimportant to the game of football and it is. The videos Ryan and his wife made are slightly disturbing and make it clear he has a foot fetish... but who cares? Can the media just leave the Jets alone? His foot fetish, true or not (seemingly true when Ryan labeled it a personal matter), has nothing to do with football. Braylon Edwards' arrest earlier in the season wasn't football related but it was a legal issue, which can affect one's status in the NFL. A foot fetish doesn't apply. Let the man live his life and let his personal matters stay between he and his wife. Just another shot taken at the Jets, they'll look to silence everyone this coming Sunday. If they beat the bears, the media will go in a frenzy but this time it won't be a personal matter.
