We all know that there has never been any love lost between the New England Patriots and New York Jets - these organizations like each other about as much as Jonathan Vilma likes Roger Goodell.

The never-ending feud took a new twist this week, when the Patriots announced one of the strangest and most obviously belligerent offseason moves in recent memory - the signing of New York Jets castoff Tim Tebow.

Could Bill Belichick be trolling the Jets any harder? Signing Jake Ballard off waivers after the Giants beat him in the Super Bowl was one thing - but this is a whole new level of "go screw yourself". What purpose could Belichick have for Tebow, other than to aggravate the Jets by having him on the sidelines and maybe playing a snap or two at fullback in their two games this season? This stinks of Belichick and Robert Kraft wanting nothing more than to stick it to Gang Green just for shits and giggles.

Granted, if anyone can take the hilariously untalented Tebow and make him useful, it would be the Hoodie. At least he's got a better shot at it than the 600-pound duo of Rex Ryan and Tony Sparano. Maybe Tebow will actually develop into a decent position player under the Patriot system. However, if anyone is delusional enough to think he'll get a better shot at QB reps in New England than he did in New York is sorely mistaken.

Maybe the Patriots will use him as a receiver.....

Ok, then maybe a coin toss captain...

Hey, at least he's a good sport!

End of story....this is pretty laughable. Good luck to all parties.

Rob Gronkowski is a tight end known for punishing hits and bruising runs. Built more like a small bear than a man, we have come to expect superhuman feats from the guy known colloquially as "Gronk".

During the New England Patriots' Week 1 blowout of the Tennessee Titans on Sunday however, Gronk's usually sure hands deserted him for a major fail on national television. Maybe he was just overly excited to be playing football again?

Nice one Robbie.

It happened everyone! This team of destiny, our beloved New York Football Giants, defied all the odds once again, and defeated the New England Patriots to become the World Champions of football. Eli is once again a Super Bowl MVP, and 2-0 against Tom Brady in the big game.

The Giants earned this victory and their ring. As fans, we earned the Lombardi Trophy too. If you supported the Giants all the way through, you have earned the right to stand tall with your heroes, as fans of the world champions. You screamed in joy and agony, you laughed, and maybe you cried, but in the end you bled BLUE and that's the only thing which matters.

The Giants went ALL IN, and now, they CASH OUT.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

We try to be objective here at JZSports, but we are New Yorkers to the core, and that will never change.

On the eve of the epic rematch of Super Bowl 46, we at JZSports want to show some support to our hometown New York Giants. Even if we didn't love the Giants here at JZSports (and we definitely do), we sure hate the Patriots enough either way.

They started this roller coaster season with an inglorious loss to the lowly Washington Redskins, and a rash of season ending injuries to a throng of their best players.

Instead of throwing in the towel on his coaching career, Tom Coughlin rode Eli Manning's arm and Victor Cruz's salsa to Giants immortality and his second SB appearance in 4 years.

The stage is set for an unforgettable Super Bowl. The G-Men are all-in.

It's your time New York Fans. Let's get it.

As bad as this season was for the Jets, they can at least take some comfort in this.
If it was Jets-Cowboys, we'd want to see the same thing.

The Patriots are starting to look very dangerous for the 2011 season. The team with the NFL's best overall record in 2010 is only getting better, as today they added what could be formidable offensive and defensive pieces.

Fat loser Albert Haynesworthless is getting his best possible chance at redemption by signing with the New England Patriots. Though Haynesworth is a lazy loudmouth, that kind of behavior does not fly on a squad coached by Bill Belichick. Haynesworth will either shut up and play the game, or he will sit, and all he's costing the Patriots is a couple of surplus draft picks. Most importantly, he gets to play alongside one of the most dangerous nose tackles in the NFL in Vince Wilfork. A chance at redemption has been handed to him on a silver platter.

The Patriots also sent a couple of picks to the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for wide receiver Chad Ochocinco. Not only does this provide the opinionated and loud Ochocinco with a coach that will set him straight, but it gives Tom Brady his first legitimate No. 1 receiver since Randy Moss was good in 2009.

Watch out for the Patriots this season. They are going to be a tough nut to crack.

28-21 win by the Jets. What a victory. Confidence omnipresent, the trash-talking was finally backed up. Tough battle but they reigned victorious. Aside from a team standpoint, this game was one of the most entertaining playoff games in recent memory. This 28-21 win reeks of the Giants' Superbowl upset over the undefeated Patriots in '08. Jets can't relax now as they have the current Steel Curtain next week in the AFC Championship game featuring always confident Big Ben. There's going to be bloodshed. The game will be brutally physical. Enjoy Ladainian Tomlinson after the game in this clip.

"Three of the four NFL playoff games this weekend figure to be played in arctic conditions and the results could lead to the ultimate showdown — Green Bay at Chicago."

                                                                               ~ Chris Erskine, LA Times

As football fanatics salivate in preparation of the second week of playoff football, Chris Erskine of the LA Times presents the possibility of the NFC championship game out-doing the Superbowl. He predicts the Packers to beat the Falcons and the Bears to beat the Seahawks, giving fans the chance to witness another January rivalry game in the tundra that will be nothing short of hard-hitting with a plethora of blood stained jerseys walking off the field in the end. Personally I do see the Packers overcoming the highly-touted Falcons but the Seahawks defeating the Bears, not allowing Erskine's duel to occur. To read the full article, click here.

Baltimore @ Pittsburgh... A hard-nosed rivalry, this one will be fought  hard on both sides, with plenty of blood and bone-breaking. Watch for hard hits by Harrison and Reed, two hungry veterans who know what it takes to win. Ray Lewis will be his usual self, riling his teammates and letting loose on blind-sighted tight ends, while Roethlisberger will find gaps in their vulnerable secondary and will take this one with a 20-17 win.

Green Bay @ Atlanta... With the week off Atlanta loses momentum. The Packers resemble the 2008 Giants who surged through the playoffs as the underdogs with a 10-6 record to beat the undefeated Patriots. The Packers are hungry, humble and ready to make noise. Aaron Rodgers will get routine pressure from John Abraham and the Atlanta defense but will elude it by scrambling as he does so well and finding Jennings consistently. Packers win by 10.

Seattle @ Chicago... Seahawks are on a roll and Chicago has a streaky offense and an overrated quarterback in Cutler. This picture resembles the face Mike Martz will have after seeing his quarterback face constant pressure and throw consistently wild chucks to his receivers. Seahawks win in their second upset of the playoffs, finally reaching .500 at 9-9. Win by 7.

New York @ New England... Jets have a chance to make a statement and Rex Ryan has them believeing, albeit talking too much (Cromartie). In the game of the week, there will be hard hits and emotions flying high. Jets win by 3 and propel themselves into the AFC Championship, having to face yet another elite team in the Steelers.
