Hakeem Nicks made us all proud during the Giants' 2012 playoff run. His catch and run against the Falcons, his hail mary grab against the Packers, and just about everything else he did to help New York get the Lombardi Trophy back where it belongs deserves recognition.
After steadily improving through each of his three seasons, Nicks looks poised to have the best year of his career. Want to see how that's even possible? Read on right here:

The creator of the New York Giants' post Super-Bowl celebration, Andre Brown has been suspended the first four games of the 2012 season for an apparent performance enhancing drug violation.
We love his enthusiasm for being a part of the world champions, and his team spirit is enthralling to say the least.
Having said that, what guy using performance enhancing drugs can't even get off the practice squad??
I mean..seriously.

It happened everyone! This team of destiny, our beloved New York Football Giants, defied all the odds once again, and defeated the New England Patriots to become the World Champions of football. Eli is once again a Super Bowl MVP, and 2-0 against Tom Brady in the big game.
The Giants earned this victory and their ring. As fans, we earned the Lombardi Trophy too. If you supported the Giants all the way through, you have earned the right to stand tall with your heroes, as fans of the world champions. You screamed in joy and agony, you laughed, and maybe you cried, but in the end you bled BLUE and that's the only thing which matters.
The Giants went ALL IN, and now, they CASH OUT.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WORLD CHAMPIONS!!
We try to be objective here at JZSports, but we are New Yorkers to the core, and that will never change.

On the eve of the epic rematch of Super Bowl 46, we at JZSports want to show some support to our hometown New York Giants. Even if we didn't love the Giants here at JZSports (and we definitely do), we sure hate the Patriots enough either way.
They started this roller coaster season with an inglorious loss to the lowly Washington Redskins, and a rash of season ending injuries to a throng of their best players.
Instead of throwing in the towel on his coaching career, Tom Coughlin rode Eli Manning's arm and Victor Cruz's salsa to Giants immortality and his second SB appearance in 4 years.
The stage is set for an unforgettable Super Bowl. The G-Men are all-in.
It's your time New York Fans. Let's get it.

Another of JZSports' "Best of 2011".
The play that started the journey of a legend: Victor Cruz's first touchdown reception of the 2011 NFL Season. Not only did Cruz kick off a historical season that would be the best ever by a New York Giants receiver, but this was the play that sent the "Dream Team" Philadelphia Eagles spiraling down into their 2011 nightmare. It doesn't get much sweeter than that.
Not to mention LOL@Nnamdi Asomugha.

Travis Beckum's awesome 64-yard touchdown to open the Giants-Packers game was a pretty phenomenal catch-and-run, and LaRod Stephens-Howling made his case with a game winning screen pass touchdown. However, when you make a catch in the NFL, and Charles Woodson gives you a pound, you deserve a little recognition.
The Giants were scrappy and stayed with the Green Bay Packers to the very end, thanks in part to Nicks' incredible one-armed grab on this corner fade in the endzone from Eli Manning, a signature pass of the Giants' quarterback.
The Giants will look to ride the momentum from their Week 13 loss-but-moral-victory against the division rival Dallas Cowboys in a titanic showdown for the NFC East.

In recent memory, there are few teams that have suffered as much devastation by injury as the New York Giants. The past several seasons, the Giants have lost key players in droves, like Osi Umenyiora in 2009, Matthias Kiwanuka, Steve Smith and Domenik Hixon in 2010, as well as Plaxico Burress in 2008, to name but a few.
The 2011 offseason has been nothing short of a nightmare for the New York Giants and their fans. After a promising draft, the fans allowed themselves a glimmer of hope for this season to get back to the playoffs. That hope as fallen apart during training camp and the preseason, as the New York Giants lose important players like flies to a can of Raid.
First, the team lost first-round draft choice Prince Amukamara two days after he signed his rookie contract, severely damaging the team's depth at the cornerback position. His broken foot will heal midseason, but he will still struggle to make an impact, having missed the offseason.
Soon after, rookie second-round pick Marvin Austin went down with a torn pectoral muscle and has been placed on IR, removing the third rotating defensive tackle from the depth chart. Next was Clint Sintim, the outside linebacker who was supposed to rotate with Kiwanuka, and who has now been lost for the year with a torn ACL.
Just today, starting middle linebacker Jonathan Goff went down with a torn ACL and has been lost for 2011.
The most devastating injury of all however, is the one sustained by Cornerback Terrell Thomas in the preseason opener. The Giants' leading 2010 tackler, and arguably their most effective defensive player has been lost for the year to YET ANOTHER torn ACL.
The offense has remained largely intact, but the much-vaunted defense of Big Blue has been shattered by the injury bug this offseason. Why such a run of bad luck has fallen can only be speculated at, and no speculation can change New York's roster woes.
Unless some of the bench guys who get called up can perform effectively, 2011 promises to be a very, VERY long season for the New York Giants and their fans.
Buckle in Giants fans. This one might get ugly fast.

Sorry for the barrage, but the updates are coming in that fast.
It has been revealed that the remaining stud free agent wide receiver, Sidney Rice, has agreed to a five-year deal worth $41 million, with $18.5 million guaranteed. This is a crushing blow to the Minnesota Vikings, who were very much hoping to retain Rice's services
Seattle now has an extremely formidable receiving corps in place, headed by Rice. The others in this group are Mike Williams, Brandon Stokeley, Golden Tate and John Carlson. Even with mediocre quarterbacks Charlie Whitehurst and Tavaris Jackson under center, the Seahawks are going to have a nasty air attack in 2011.
Another notable signing has been the departure of Giants defensive tackle Barry Cofield to the rival Washington Redskins, for a deal reportedly worth $36 million over 6 years. Though this was an expected departure, there is no comfort in the fact that a solid defensive player has joined the defense of a division rival. Look for that match up to be an interesting one in 2011.
A smaller free agent deal that has been agreed to today is the Bruce Gradkowski to Cincinnati deal. Joining the long list of quarterbacks who have moved around this week. Gradkowski will play the mentor role in Cincinnati as the Bengals try to develop rookie Andy Dalton.
Lastly, Paul Posluszny of the Buffalo Bills has left his former team to join the hapless Jacksonville Jaguars. Talk about moving from one bad situation to another!

28-21 win by the Jets. What a victory. Confidence omnipresent, the trash-talking was finally backed up. Tough battle but they reigned victorious. Aside from a team standpoint, this game was one of the most entertaining playoff games in recent memory. This 28-21 win reeks of the Giants' Superbowl upset over the undefeated Patriots in '08. Jets can't relax now as they have the current Steel Curtain next week in the AFC Championship game featuring always confident Big Ben. There's going to be bloodshed. The game will be brutally physical. Enjoy Ladainian Tomlinson after the game in this clip.
