I just wanted to clear up the topic of Manning. I am pro Manning. I think he is a good QB. I think that, as you were discussing on the show, the offensive coordinators either need to be ousted or they need a serious overhaul. My feelings are that once they clean up the offensive coaching staff, they can work on reorganizing for next season. Most importantly, the offensive line needs to stay healthy!
ReplyDeleteI need to make a retraction and an apology regarding my comments on former Giants' QB, Jeff Hostetler. During my call into the last show I made the slip of including Hostetler in former Big Blue QBs that had performed below par for the team. Hostetler, in fact, came into the 1990 season after Phil Simms fell to a season ending broken bone in his foot. Hostetler helped the Giants to finish out the end of their regular season on a winning note, Helped them win the NFC and finished the season with a 1991 Super Bowl Championship ring.
ReplyDeleteMy apologies to Mr. Hostetler as well as any and all Fans of The Big Blue!
